The LOVE Panel

To kick off our LOVE series, a panel of fellow Fusioners shared with us from their experiences with marriage, dating, and singleness.

As young adults pursuing Christ we are not immune to all of the emotions, thoughts, and feelings that come with the concept of love. We are continually fed lies from the media and people around us about what our love lives (or lack thereof) should look like. We are bombarded with thoughts about what's next...how do we move forward in our relationship? How do we find the right person?

Fusion, we've been asking all the wrong questions! It's time to get our hearts and minds aligned with the things of God...with the heart of God. And we can only do that by spending time in the Word and in prayer. One thing that was repeated during our panel discussion was the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

He must be our first love, Fusion.

A Night of Worship

If you were at 356 Home Avenue this Sunday night, you were in the presence of God.  He is true to His word, "I inhabit the praises of my people!"  We must minister in a way that leads people to walk out the door each week, first and foremost, talking about God's presence.  Our human nature desires that we impress our peeps with our sermons and/or our songs but I am committed to impress God with our unabashed praise each Sunday night.  Not a praise to say God give me more but a praise to say I am giving more of me to you.

Fusion we must be known by God not as just another ministry but as His most loyal and passionate worshippers.  Lets lead a generation to seek a life that worships in spirit and in truth.  While others seek fame, fortune, more, More, MOre, MORe, MORE for me, let us seek more, More, MOre, MORe, MORE of HIM! And the only way we get more of Him is by giving more of us.   We must minister in such a way that the people are left giving Him the credit while they ask themselves, "what was the name of that group, that ministry?  Well I don't remember their name but I know one thing God is with them!".
